Safe road-crossing near school: Decade of Action in Armenia. 13.05.2011

In the frames of the series of event on the official Launch of the “Decade of Action” on Road Safety in Armenia another event was on the participation of schoolchildren in providing Road Safety at the school area. The campaign was implemented on the 13th of May at the Yerevan school #51. The schoolchildren jointly with the Road police and street repairing workers repaint the zebra pedestrian crossing in front of the street. The representatives of NRSCA, UN Informational centre, OSCE Yerevan branch, WHO, Road Police and Mass Media were also present at the campaign. They gifted schoolchildren T-Shirts and Souvenirs with Road Safety symbol – penguin .
